eFire Technologies is a fully independent, privately owned and operated company in Queensland.

eFire Technologies specialise in products such as VESDA aspirated smoke detection equipment, the range of Hochiki detectors & devices & the FireNet analogue networkable FIP.

Xtralis (manufacturers of VESDA) have twice awarded eFire Technologies their Distributor of the Year Award for the Asia Pacific region for outstanding contributions.

At eFire Technologies we pride ourselves in providing outstanding service and ensure that we are involved in projects from the very early design stages to the commissioning stage, where we make sure systems are configured and tested as per the manufacturers requirements.

Our experienced staff has driven our success in the market place today by providing in excess of 50 years combined experience.

Key Personnel

Jeffrey Palmer
Jeff has 30 years of construction industry experience and 14 years hands on experience in the fire industry. This experience gives Jeff invaluable field and technical knowledge that is embraced by contractors, consultants and designers alike. Jeff has designed, installed, maintained and commissioned numerous VESDA and FireNet projects himself, and therefore understands client expectations when it comes to support.

Erwin Hayes
Erwin has 22 years of experience in the fire industry, VESDA in particular. His previous role was Technical Manager (Fire) for the Asia Pacific region for Xtralis (manufacturers of VESDA). Erwin has provided hands on support across the Asia Pacific region for 12 years and has worked closely with consultants, distributors, designers and end users in many, varied VESDA applications. Erwin played an integral part in supporting the world's largest networked VESDA site in Taichung, Taiwan using 675 VESDA detectors on site.

Both Erwin and Jeff are approved trainers for the Xtralis Accredited VESDA Training Course.
